How long have you been attending Lutheran High?
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is definitely home cooked Arabic food.
What is your favorite music?
I listen to such a wide range of music, it is difficult to explain. I listen to indie, oldies, christian, country, and so much more!
What are your plans after high school?
After high school I am planning on going to a four year university. I haven't chosen one yet but my top two are Point Loma and Azusa Pacific.
What do you plan on majoring in?
I would like to major in either graphic design or biology.
What has been your favorite class in High School?
My favorite class that I've taken in high school is photoshop. I loved the creativity and thought that was able to put into each of my projects. Learning the skills needed to use photoshop from Mrs. Crites has opened so many doors for me and has been great practice for what I would like to pursue as my career.
What is your favorite memory of LHS?
There are so many moments that come to mind when I think of my favorite memory at Lutheran, but one during my junior year stands out the most. I was in my sleeping bag on the gym floor during one of our "lock-ins" surrounded by my friends. We were watching Jurassic World on the projector and I was having a blast until the sleep deprivation finally hit. The next thing I know, I'm waking up to Mrs. Heinemann bouncing a basketball next to our ears telling us that "sleep is for the weak" and we must wake up and have fun! Sure, I was tired beyond belief, but so we're all of my friends and that's what made it worth it.
What sports did you play at LHS?
During my time at Lutheran I have played both volleyball and softball. I've been the volleyball captain twice, softball captain once, and am so excited to begin our 2017 softball season very shortly!
If you had a chance to sit down with someone who is considering sending their child to LHS, what would you tell them?
If you are considering Lutheran as a home for your child for the next four years, I would strongly recommend it. I transferred to Lutheran after my freshman year and it was hands down the best and biggest decision I have ever made for myself. I wouldn't take it back in a million years because I found a home at Lutheran.
Thank you Miss Sunnaa! It has been an honor having you at LHS and we cannot wait to see where God takes you and we are proud to see the Woman of God that you have grown to be!
